Our client, an established Sydney CBD boutique, wants a building and construction lawyer with a following who would rather run their own practice than sit inside a large team. The role is a Salaried Partner or Special Counsel on a package of $250K to $300K, plus bonuses, and your practice is expected to at least cover your salary.

About the role

- Run a building and construction practice as your own.
- Advise on construction contracts, disputes and security of payment
- Act for developers, builders,



contractors and consultants
- Bring existing relationships and win new work
- Use the firm's marketing and business development support
- Develop junior lawyers

What you'll bring

- Substantial building and construction experience, typically 8 or more years
- A client base that can at least cover the cost of your salary package
- A business development mindset
- A current Australian practising certificate
- Willingness to work mainly from the Sydney CBD office

- A salaried package of $250K to $300K, plus bonuses on top
- Your clients, your matters, with the firm's support behind you
- A Sydney CBD office, ideally full time, with some flexibility
