Retail Safari, part of Strikeforce, is looking for confident and motivated Business Sales Representatives to represent Origin Energy and connect face-to-face with local businesses. This is a genuine new-business field sales role. You’ll own an allocated territory, meet small business owners and decision-makers, create your own opportunities and build a pipeline through proactive face-to-face engagement.

Here’s What You’ll Get

- $74,500 base salary + uncapped commission + super (OTE $99,000 + super)
- Monday – Friday 9:00- 5:30 role only – enjoy your weekends!

About The Role Reporting to Sales Team Leader, as an Origin Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving business growth across your allocated territory by identifying new opportunities and helping small businesses find the right energy solutions for their needs. This is a fulltime field based role.

You’ll Be Responsible For

- Proactively approaching small businesses within your allocated territory
- Engaging business owners and key decision-makers face-to-face
- Building and managing a sustainable sales pipeline
- Generating new business opportunities through prospecting and referrals
- Presenting Origin's electricity and gas solutions to prospective customers




- Achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Growing Origin's market share within your territory
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity
- Delivering a positive customer experience from initial contact through to sale

About You We’re looking for someone who enjoys the challenge of winning current business.

You Are

- Confident speaking with people face-to-face
- Enjoy proactive selling rather than waiting for leads
- Motivated by achieving targets and earning commission
- Comfortable working independently in a field environment
- Have strong objection-handling, negotiation and closing skills
- Energetic, proactive, and self-driven
- Organised with strong communication skills

To Be Successful, You Will Need

- A current valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle (mandatory)
- Previous sales experience (B2B or direct sales highly regarded)
- Strong objection-handling and relationship-building skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn

Don’t have traditional B2B experience? That doesn’t automatically rule you out. If you’ve developed strong sales skills through field sales, direct sales, fundraising, automotive sales, telecommunications, retail, hospitality or another target-driven customer-facing environment, we’d still like to hear from you.

What matters most is your ability to confidently approach new people, build rapport, handle objections and create opportunities.
