We’re on the lookout for a passionate Library Team Leader Operations to join our vibrant Ivanhoe

Library and Cultural Hub team. In this role, you’ll oversee daily operations, guide and inspire the team, and deliver exceptional library services that connect and engage our community.

You’ll also build strong relationships with our member councils and collaborate across YPRL to keep services consistent, innovative, and community focused. If you love leading people, shaping excellent library experiences, and making a real impact, this is the role for you!

What You’ll Be Leading

As our Team Leader – Operations, you’ll be at the heart of making our branch shine! You will:

- Deliver top-quality library services that delight our community.
- Guide, support, and train your amazing team.
- Keep branch operations running smoothly, from admin to building maintenance.
- Shape and uphold library policies and procedures.
- Lead day-to-day operations with confidence and flair.
- Build solid partnerships and foster positive relationships with external stakeholders.

The Ideal Candidate A qualified and/or experienced library professional, holding tertiary qualifications in Librarianship recognized by ALIA or another relevant tertiary qualification. High customer service, passionate about delivering high-quality, community-focused library services in a branch setting. A confident, people-focused leader who motivates teams, communicates clearly, and connects effectively with diverse audiences.
