Start: April 2026
Contract: Full-time, Fixed-term (potential to extend)

An independent co-educational school in the Perth metropolitan area is seeking a passionate English Teacher to join their Senior School team from Term 2, 2026 .

The successful candidate will teach English across Years 7–12 , delivering engaging lessons that develop students’ literacy, critical thinking, and appreciation of literature. Teachers are also expected to contribute to the pastoral care and co-curricular life of the school community .

Key Responsibilities

- Teach English across Years 7–12 in line with WA curriculum and WACE requirements

- Plan engaging lessons and differentiate for diverse learning needs

- Monitor student progress and provide meaningful feedback





- Maintain communication with parents and contribute to reporting processes

- Participate in pastoral care and co-curricular activities

Requirements

- Bachelor of Education or equivalent teaching qualification

- Specialisation in English or Humanities

- Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA) registration or eligibility

- Strong communication and classroom management skills
