Team Member - Assembly - Fabrication - Parts - Deliveries

Oz AG Machinery is expanding and in search of more Team Members. As such it requires experienced Assemblers / Fabricators / Mechanics / Team Players to join the Assembly and Manufacturing team based in Ballarat, VIC.

You will assist a team of experienced assemblers with the manufacture of a wide range of farm machinery, including the assembly of ready-to-assemble machines and pre-delivery testing of machines to ensure they are ready for in-field use. As part of this versatile role, your tasks may include specific engineering tasks or repairs as directed, plus fabrication and welding of components if required, as the company develops additional improvements, modifications and features to its highly regarded machines.

Key responsibilities

Assist with assembly of ready-to-assemble machines

Conduct pre-delivery testing of machines to ensure they are ready for use





Communicate with key stake holders, both internally and externally

Fabrication and assembling of components as required

Perform specific engineering tasks as directed by the Manufacturing or Product Development Manager

About you

Any relevant industry experience

Previous Assembly or Mechanical knowledge

Familiar with various metal fabrication machines and tools

Able to interpret working CAD engineering drawings if required

Self-motivated and able to work without supervision

Ability to work cooperatively within a busy team or autonomously

Previous welding or engineering experience is an advantage, but not a necessity

Truck Licence (either HR or HC) is an advantage, but not a necessity
