What you’ll be doing:

This role plays a key part in ensuring the NSW RFS learning systems, training records and compliance processes operate effectively and reliably. Combining training administration, RTO compliance, data management and technology, you will help maintain accurate training records, optimise learning systems and support the organisation to meet its regulatory obligations.

Working closely with trainers, staff and volunteers, you will identify opportunities for improvement, investigate issues, implement solutions and ensure changes deliver practical and sustainable outcomes. Through your work,



the organisation can have confidence that personnel are appropriately trained, records are accurate, and training and compliance requirements are consistently met.

To thrive in this role, you will have:

- Strong understanding of Registered Training Organisation (RTO) compliance, combined with practical experience administering and supporting learning and training systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work across Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Student Management Systems (SMS), maintaining data integrity, identifying issues, supporting audit activities and ensuring accurate reporting and compliance outcomes.
- A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to analyse processes, identify opportunities, and implement practical solutions that enhance system performance and user experience.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with trainers, staff and volunteers to support the effective delivery and management of training information and systems.
- An understanding of the unique operating environment of the NSW RFS, including the challenges of supporting a large volunteer-based organisation with diverse operational requirements, varying levels of experience, and differing availability and access needs.
