Due to growth, we are seeking an experienced full time Operations Manager to oversee the Waste operations based at a site in Tullamarine with travel to other sites based in Victoria. The Operations Manager will include developing and empowering your team, managing day-to-day operations, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring strict adherence to compliance and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations, ensuring service delivery excellence, efficiency, and adherence to contract specifications.

Provide practical, hands on support onsite daily

Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company's national objectives.

Drive innovation and continuous improvement to enhance service delivery.

Lead, inspire, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and success.

Provide coaching and development opportunities to ensure your team is equipped to meet business objectives.

Manage supervisors to ensure staff are performing to agreed requirements and provide direct supervision to staff in the absence of supervisors

Serve as a point of contact for major clients, maintaining strong, trusted relationships.

Actively engage with clients to understand their evolving needs, ensuring service excellence and retention.

Ensure all operations comply with relevant legislation,



regulations, and company policies.

A track record of success in client relationship management and business development.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Comprehensive understanding of people, safety, compliance, and risk management frameworks.

Results-driven with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
