Porta is looking for a Technologist to join our Product Innovation team in Somersby. Working closely with our manufacturing operations, you'll help improve processes, solve technical challenges and support the development of current products and production capabilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a Science or Engineering background who enjoys problem-solving, continuous improvement and seeing the real-world results of their work. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

About the role

- Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, quality and efficiency
- Monitor production performance and investigate technical issues
- Troubleshoot process and equipment-related challenges
- Analyse production data to identify root causes and practical solutions
- Support new product development and manufacturing initiatives




- Develop testing, quality and operational standards
- Work closely with production teams to drive continuous improvement

About you

- A degree in Science, Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A proactive and hands-on approach
- Strong attention to detail
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Experience in manufacturing, process engineering or product development is advantageous but not essential.
- Build broad technical experience across manufacturing, product development, process improvement and innovation projects
