Hytec Cooling has been servicing Sydney since 1985. We install, service and repair commercial air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration systems. Most of our work is in hospitality and food outlets, but not limited to them. We also look after retail, logistics and commercial sites, and deliver mechanical fit-outs for builders and contractors.

The role

We're after a highly skilled air conditioning technician who takes pride in doing the job properly the first time. You'll carry out service work across metro Sydney, trusted to diagnose, decide and fix, backed by a team that supports you when you need it.

- Delivering preventive maintenance services on commercial air conditioning and ventilation systems, including chilled water and refrigerated cooling units
- Fault investigation and repair on split, ducted, VRF/VRV, packaged, chilled water and refrigerated cooling systems
- Writing detailed service notes for every job
- Completing DLAP reporting accurately and on time
- Installing and commissioning new AC systems on fit-out and recent-build projects
- Working safely to our SWMS and site requirements

What you'll bring





- Proven 5+ years' experience as a commercial Air Conditioning Technician
- NSW Fair Trading licence for refrigeration and air-conditioning work
- Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical, electrical and controls faults
- Commercial refrigeration experience is highly regarded but not mandatory
- Current NSW driver's licence
- Full working rights in Australia
- Desirable: White Card, Working at Heights, EWP licence
