Take the lead on major security projects across South Australia.

AG Security Group is continuing to grow and we are looking for a Senior Security Technician to join our projects team.

This is a senior, hands-on role working alongside an experienced team across a range of security systems, technologies and project environments. About us

AG Security Group is South Australia's leading and largest privately owned security organisation, protecting Australians for more than 35 years.

We are a locally owned South Australian family business with a large team delivering security services and major projects across government, utilities, critical infrastructure and commercial environments.

As we continue to grow, we continue to invest in our people, technology, training, systems and capability, creating long-term opportunities for our people while delivering high-quality security solutions for our clients.

Ongoing technical and professional training will be provided to help you continue developing your knowledge and capability.

About you

You're likely already an experienced Security Technician looking for greater responsibility or you may currently be working at a senior level and looking for your next opportunity.

- Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship
- A practical, safety-focused approach
- The confidence to take responsibility when technical challenges arise
- A willingness to continue learning and developing your technical capability

Experience, product training or certifications across systems such as Gallagher and/or Inner Range Integriti will be highly regarded, but we don't expect you to know every system we work with.

You don't necessarily need to already have "Senior Security Technician" in your job title.

If you've developed strong technical capability, have the right attitude and are ready to take on greater responsibility, we'd encourage you to get in touch. We're happy to have a conversation about where you're at today and whether this could be the right next step in your career.

About our regional work

We want to be upfront about this part of the role as well.

A significant component of our project work is across regional South Australia. Depending on the project, this can mean travelling from Adelaide on Monday, working away during the week and returning Friday. At other times, you'll work across metropolitan Adelaide or undertake shorter periods of regional travel.

When you’re working away, AG Security Group provides your accommodation and pays a generous Living Away from Home Allowance.

If you enjoy project work, don't mind travelling and value the additional earning opportunities that regional work provides, this can be a rewarding part of the role.

AG Security Group is an equal opportunity employer. We value diversity and inclusion in our workplace.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are encouraged to apply.
