Zoom Recruitment is looking for reliable Freight Handlers and Freight Sorters to join one of Australia's largest transport and logistics companies at their Tullamarine site.
This is a excellent chance to work with a well known industry leader in a fast paced, team focused environment.
Pay and hours
- $42.67 per hour
- Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
- Consistent weekly hours with weekends off
What you'll be doing
- Unloading containers and pallets by hand
- Handling and sorting small to medium freight
- Scanning items with RF scanners and handheld devices
- Sorting freight accurately by destination, route or customer
- Loading and building pallets, and wrapping and labelling freight for dispatch
- Checking freight for damage and reporting any problems
- Keeping work areas clean, safe and organised
- Following all workplace health and safety procedures
What we're looking for
- Reliable candidates available Monday to Friday, every week
- Switched on, with strong attention to detail
- Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive manual handling
- Able to work at a steady pace in a busy environmentA team player with a positive attitude
- Previous warehouse, freight or logistics experience is an advantage but not essential
- A forklift licence (LF) is a bonus but not required

- Full working rights in Australia
- Steel-capped safety boots
