BCE Spatial is steadily growing its presence in Victoria, and we are looking for an experienced Engineering Surveyor to join our Melbourne team. Our Melbourne division has been established for 18 months and is on a steady growth trajectory. Having earned appointments on government panels and built establishednetworks with Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineering consultants, our local workload is expanding. We are fully integrating into our national business model and need an experienced professional who can hit the ground running, work autonomously, and grow alongside the organisation.

The Opportunity

Based out of our Melbourne operations, you will step into a highly autonomous role managing projects from field to finish within an automated workflow. You will collaborate directly with a diverse portfolio of clients, including architects, developers, Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineering firms, civil construction companies, local councils, and government departments.

You will work on a variety of challenging and interesting projects, including:

- Major civil and infrastructure projects
- Geodetic surveys and high-precision survey control networks
- Residential and commercial detail surveys
- Roads, subdivisions and earthworks
- Industrial and commercial developments
- Mining and resources projects
- Construction and engineering projects
- Mobile Scanning and Terrestrial Scanning
- Detailed set-out and as-built surveys

You will work seamlessly both in the field and in the office within an automated workflow. This role provides an excellent opportunity to be heavily involved in cutting-edge spatial technologies,



including advanced UAV LiDAR, mobile and terrestrial laser scanning, and GIS / data analysis.

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Surveyor who is self-sufficient, highly adaptable, and eager to grow with the business. You will bring:

We are seeking Engineering Surveyors who have:

- Relevant surveying qualifications and/or significant industry experience
- Strong experience in engineering and construction surveying
- Excellent set-out and as-built surveying skills
- The ability to read engineering and construction drawings
- Experience with Trimble equipment and survey software is highly desirable
- Strong 12d Model, Magnet or LisCAD experience is highly desirable
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- A professional approach and commitment to delivering quality work
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
