We are seeking an enthusiastic "people person" to join our builder's equipment hire team in Melbourne's inner east, assisting with all aspects of customer service.

Experience with equipment is not essential - all training will be provided for a candidate willing and able to learn.

This role would suit someone with retail or hospitality experience who enjoys variety and has an interest or hobbies in mechanics and/or trades. The successful candidate will also demonstrate a strong customer service ethic.

- You have a strong customer service ethic and enjoy solving problems
- You are mechanically minded and enjoy working with your hands
- You are able to communicate vital information efficiently while maintaining a personable demeanour
- You are enthusiastic and self motivated

- A current driver's licence is essential with a good record. Any other training required will be organised, paid and arranged by us for the right candidate.

Therole:

Dealing directly with customers, this important role will involve:

- Understanding and solving customer equipment needs
- Basic administration of hire contracts
- Handover of equipment including providing instructions for use
- Loading and unloading customers in the hire yard
- Assisting with preparing equipment for hire
- Delivery and collection of equipment from customer's sites (using Hiredepot vehicles - drivable on a standard car licence)

This is a full time salary position 5 days per week.
