As a Tradesperson - HVAC within Building Engineering & Maintenance Services (BEMS) at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, you will provide high-quality maintenance, repair and installation services for heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems across one of Queensland's largest healthcare facilities. Your work will play a critical role in ensuring hospital infrastructure operates safely, efficiently and in compliance with relevant standards and legislative requirements.

Working both independently and as part of a skilled team, you will undertake fault finding, preventative maintenance and repairs on complex HVAC systems, plant and associated infrastructure. You will collaborate with stakeholders, contractors and clinical areas to deliver reliable building services that support the ongoing delivery of healthcare services.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

- Undertake installation, servicing, fault finding and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems within a large and complex healthcare workplace.
- Diagnose equipment faults, investigate system performance issues and implement practical, cost-effective maintenance solutions.
- Manage maintenance work orders, resources and materials to ensure tasks are completed safely,



efficiently and within required timeframes.
- Conduct condition assessments of plant and infrastructure to support asset reliability, performance and preventative maintenance programs.
- Liaise with supervisors, contractors and stakeholders while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, standards, codes of practice and workplace safety requirements.
