Enrolled Nurse (EN) – Casual | Footscray, VIC

About the role

Enrolled Nurses are an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, working alongside Registered Nurses, Personal Care Assistants and allied health professionals to deliver a high standard of clinical care that supports residents' individual needs, dignity and wellbeing.

You’ll provide nursing care, administer medications, monitor residents' health and support their daily care needs. You’ll also build meaningful relationships with residents and families, understand their individual preferences and provide care with kindness, compassion and respect.

We have casual opportunities available across morning, afternoon and night shifts, working within a supportive and experienced clinical team.

Key responsibilities

Providing safe and effective nursing care within the Enrolled Nurse scope of practice and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse

Administering medications safely in accordance with relevant policies and procedures

Monitoring residents' health, recognising changes or clinical deterioration and escalating concerns promptly

Contributing to resident assessments, care planning and regular reviews

Providing wound care and other clinical interventions within scope of practice

Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation

Working closely with Registered Nurses, Personal Care Assistants, GPs and allied health professionals to ensure quality resident care

Building positive relationships with residents and families while respecting individual preferences and cultural needs

About you





Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse

Qualifications and authorisations required to administer medications within your scope of practice

Minimum of 6 months' experience working as an Enrolled Nurse in residential aged care

Sound clinical assessment, medication management and documentation skills

Ability to recognise and promptly elevate changes in residents' clinical conditions

Caring, compassionate and respectful approach

Good communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills

Commitment to providing safe, evidence-based and person-centred care

Additional language skills in Vietnamesen, Mandarin, Cantonese or Filipino or Tagalog would be highly regarded, as these would assist us in meeting the communication and cultural needs of our residents
