Preschool Room Leader - Diploma or ECT *Commencing January 2027*

Early Foundations Academy is seeking a dedicated and confident Diploma Qualified Educator or Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join the team in January 2027, leading the Preschool Room and delivering a high-quality, engaging and meaningful school readiness program.

Key responsibilities

- Lead the Preschool Room and mentor and support a team of educators
- Plan, implement and evaluate a comprehensive School Readiness Program that supports children's successful transition to primary school
- Create engaging, play-based learning experiences that build children's independence, confidence and school readiness skills
- Maintain strong, respectful relationships with children, families and fellow educators
- Create a warm, inclusive and inspiring preschool setting

About you





- Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care OR an approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification (ECT)
- Have previous experience as a Room Leader, with the confidence and ability to lead, mentor and support a team of educators
- Have demonstrated Preschool experience, including planning, implementing and evaluating a comprehensive School Readiness Program
- Have a strong understanding of the EYLF, NQF and NQS
- Demonstrate excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
- Available to work full-time hours (Monday–Friday), commencing January 2027
