We’re partnering with an Australian-owned consumer business on a significant infrastructure transition, focused on modernising its technology environment and ensuring continuity across a large, multi-site organisation.

The business is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a time-critical infrastructure transformation program, working across multiple teams and stakeholders to deliver a smooth transition with minimal disruption.

The Role

This is a 3-6 month+ contract opportunity for a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to lead a critical transition away from Citrix. The project has a firm delivery deadline, so strong project management, stakeholder engagement and the ability to keep things moving are essential.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, infrastructure engineers, application team managers, service desk and change management teams, you’ll manage dependencies, navigate scope changes and ensure a smooth transition into ongoing support.

This role will suit someone who can bring structure to a complex environment without needing every detail mapped out from day one. You’ll need to be comfortable with ambiguity,



proactive in resolving issues and confident managing senior stakeholders while keeping delivery on track.

The role is based in Melbourne and the client is looking for someone who can start immediately or within the next week or two.

What You Bring To The Role

- You’ll bring proven experience delivering complex infrastructure projects, ideally involving Citrix exits, virtual desktop environments or infrastructure migrations.
- Robust project management skills across multiple technical workstreams, teams and stakeholders are essential, along with the ability to navigate ambiguity, manage changing scope and work through unknowns without losing momentum.
- You’ll be confident engaging with senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and managing competing priorities.
- Experience coordinating application migrations, technical teams, vendors, change management and operational handovers will be valuable, alongside a practical, solutions-focused approach and the ability to keep delivery on track against tight deadlines.
