We are looking for a Software Development Lead to join our Brisbane-based ICT team at Lite n’ Easy . This is a high-impact, "brownfield" environment where you will manage a team of 5 in‑house developers dedicated to continuous improvement .
- Lead & Mentor : Head a team of 5 skilled developers, fostering a collaborative environment and identifying opportunities for their qualified growth.
- Enforce Standards : Establish and lead best practices in Web and Application development, ensuring the team maintains excellent coding standards across the full development cycle.
- Technical Delivery : Manage timelines from concept through to application launch, working closely with the Applications Manager and ICT Project Manager to prioritise strategic initiatives.
- Hybrid Approach : Navigate a diverse workload involving Agile/Waterfall and Squads for projects Business-As-Usual (BAU) tasks.
- Technical Quality : Ensure the reliability, performance and security of applications while driving innovation to meet evolving business needs.
About You
- 10+ years experience in web and application development.
- 5+ years experience leading and mentoring software development teams.
- Strong experience with the Microsoft technology stack, including C#, .NET Framework and .NET Core, ASP.NET web applications, Windows Forms applications, RESTful APIs.
- React experience.
- Strong stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Solid SQL Server and database development experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice To Have
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and/or Microsoft App Center.
- Hands‑on experience developing and managing modern web applications using Next.js, Storyblok and Vercel.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and other business applications.
