Role Description The Building Designer will be responsible for developing design concepts, preparing detailed drawings, and producing documentation for residential and commercial projects. Day to day tasks include collaborating with architects, engineers and the construction team, refining layouts and elevations, coordinating design details, and ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and standards. The role also involves liaising with clients to interpret briefs, incorporating feedback into design revisions, site meetings,



site measures and supporting the preparation of planning and building approval documentation

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Building Design with experience delivering detailed documentation for a variety of project types.
- Bonus if you are registred
- Candidates should possess skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including concept development, space planning, and design coordination.
- Candidates should possess understanding of Construction processes, buildability considerations, and collaboration with construction teams.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Building Design, Architecture or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation software (Revit and rendering softwares)
- Working knowledge of Australian building codes, regulations and planning requirements.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to quality and safety in design.
