We're looking for an experienced Engineering Mobile Lead to join our Global Development Engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on technology leader with deep mobile development expertise who is passionate about building modern, scalable and secure mobile applications that deliver outstanding customer experience.

Working closely with Product Managers, Architects, Engineers and Delivery teams, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our mobile engineering capability, driving technical excellence and helping deliver strategic digital solutions used by customers across global markets.

A role you will love

As Engineering Mobile Lead, you'll provide technical leadership across our mobile application landscape, leading the design, development and ongoing evolution of mobile solutions while mentoring engineers and driving best practice development standards.

You'll combine strong technical expertise with leadership capability, helping teams deliver high-quality solutions that are secure, scalable and aligned with business objectives.

Some key responsibilities:

- Lead the architecture, design and development of cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to mobile engineers, promoting engineering excellence and best practices.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects and business stakeholders to translate requirements into innovative mobile solutions.




- Drive mobile application performance, scalability, security and reliability improvements.
- Establish and maintain development standards, coding practices and testing frameworks.
- Oversee CI/CD processes and support efficient application deployment and release management.
- Partner with backend engineering teams to deliver seamless API integrations and end-to-end customer experiences.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements that enhance platform capabilities and customer outcomes.
- Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis and ongoing application support activities.
- Contribute to strategic technology initiatives and digital transformation programs across the business.

What will you bring to the role?

- Extensive experience developing mobile applications, including strong expertise in React Native.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript and modern mobile development frameworks.
- Solid understanding of iOS and Android mobile platforms and native mobile development concepts.
- Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, authentication frameworks and secure application development practices.
- Experience with testing frameworks, automated testing and quality engineering processes.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and modern software delivery methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineering teams.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills.




- Experience within financial services or highly regulated industries will be highly regarded.
