This is a full-time role at our Cessnock clinic, working under the supervision of qualified clinicians to deliver therapy programs for children and adults. You'll work alongside Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Exercise Physiologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners, Dietitians, Podiatrists, and Nurses. If you're an experienced Allied Health Assistant, there's room to grow here.

What You'll Be Doing

- Assisting clinicians to deliver individual and group-based therapy programs
- Implementing treatment plans under the supervision of qualified allied health professionals
- Supporting clients to reach their therapy goals and build independence
- Preparing therapy resources and treatment environments
- Completing progress notes and maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Building positive relationships with clients, families, carers and key stakeholders, and working with clinicians across multiple disciplines

IDEALLY, YOU'LL HAVE

- A Certificate III or Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance
- Around 2 to 4 years' experience as an Allied Health Assistant or in a similar support role

- Experience supporting allied health clinicians in a healthcare, disability or community setting
- A strong understanding of person-centred care and evidence-based practice




- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Robust organisational and time management skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- A current driver's licence and access to a vehicle
- A Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
