Contract Drivers – Asia Pacific Screen Awards & Forums

Gold Coast | 28–31 October 2026 (with some flexibility either side)

The Asia Pacific Screen Awards (APSA) is seeking professional, reliable contract drivers to support the 19th Asia Pacific Screen Awards and 8th APSA Forum on the Gold Coast. You’ll be transporting international filmmakers, jury members, industry guests and VIPs from across the Asia Pacific region.

The role

- Airport transfers between Gold Coast Airport, Brisbane Airport and The Star Gold Coast
- Transfers to and from event venues, functions and the awards ceremony
- Meeting and greeting guests on arrival, assisting with luggage, and making a warm first impression of the Gold Coast
- Following a daily run sheet, with flexibility for late changes, early starts and late finishes

What we’re looking for

- Current, unrestricted Australian driver’s licence (Driver Authorisation / commercial passenger vehicle accreditation preferred)




- Clean driving record and robust knowledge of South East Queensland roads, especially the M1 and airport routes
- Professional presentation, punctuality and discretion when working with high-profile guests
- Calm, courteous manner and good communication skills; cultural awareness and a second Asia Pacific language are a bonus
- Smartphone for run sheet updates and communication with the transport coordinator

- Main period: Wednesday 28 to Saturday 31 October 2026
- Shift-based contract work; rates negotiable based on experience and vehicle provision
- Sponsored vehicle provided.
