Who are we looking for?
We're currently seeking a lawyer with experience across a broad range of corporate and commercial transactional matters.
You'll join LOD and be seconded to our client, a well known ASX listed company in the energy sector. Embedded within the company's high performing in-house legal team, you'll assist with complex corporate and commercial transactions, and domestic and international trading activities.
Key Responsibilities
You'll advise on a range of matters which may include:
- mergers, acquisitions, divestments and other strategic corporate transactions;
- joint ventures, investment arrangements and strategic partnerships;
- transaction structuring and due diligence;
- commercial contracting and negotiation;
- domestic and international sales, marketing and trading arrangements;
- LNG,
commodity and energy-related commercial agreements;
- gas supply agreements and associated commercial arrangements;
- shipping and transportation agreements; and
- corporate governance and legal risk management.
About You
You'll have
- 5+ years' post-admission experience;
- experience gained in a top-tier, mid-tier and/or leading in-house legal team;
- strong exposure to corporate, commercial, projects, energy, resources and M&A; matters;
- excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills;
- a pragmatic and commercially focused approach to legal advice; and
- the ability to operate confidently in a fast paced and highly collaborative setting.
