We are seeking a driven, ambitious Litigation Lawyer who desires to work in an established, boutique litigation practice with a focus on Family Law. You will be under the mentorship of the Principal, with more than 35 years of experience in Parramatta. Prospective team members can expect exposure to wide-ranging matters, as well as an opportunity to work closely with clients in the local community.

We are a family run practice and offer work life balance within a long-standing and well-placed office in North Parramatta with parking.

Role Description The position is a full-time, on-site role based in Parramatta, NSW, requiring consistent office presence and attendance at local courts. The role involves:

- Representing clients in court and tribunals.
- Attending conferences and mediations, and liaising with counsel, experts, and other stakeholders.
- Providing clear, practical legal advice, negotiating settlements where appropriate, and maintaining accurate, timely file and matter management.
- Acting for clients from varying backgrounds.




- Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas and contribute to the firm’s commitment to professional, client-focused service.

About You & Qualifications

- At least 2 years post-admission experience, with experience in Family Law
- Proven ability to provide clear, practical legal advice in litigation matters.
- Experience appearing in Courts or tribunals including preparing for hearings, trials, and other court-related procedures.
- Confident analytical skills and excellent research, verbal communication and drafting skills;
- Successful candidate is expected to progress to working independently, efficiently and manage your own file load;
- Admission as a lawyer in Australia and a current practising certificate (or eligibility to obtain one promptly).
- Previous exposure to multicultural or Indian client base will be beneficial
- Ability to speak an Indian language and/or knowledge of Indian laws will be an advantage.
