Melbourne

- Be the go-to ICT person for our Melbourne office, with remote support
- Hands-on across Microsoft 365, Intune, Entra ID and Defender for Endpoint
- Shape how our people are onboarded, supported and kept secure day to day

At Fusion5, we help businesses go beyond with technology. As a trans-Tasman technology transformation partner, we bring together business applications, AI, cloud and security to deliver connected solutions for our customers across Australia and New Zealand. Our own people deserve the same standard of technology we deliver to our customers, and that's where you come in.

We're looking for an ICT Analyst to be the face of ICT in our Melbourne office. You'll own deskside support for the Melbourne team, look after remote users in our other Australian offices, and make sure everyone has secure, reliable tech that lets them get on with their work.

What you'll be doing

- Acting as the primary ICT contact for Melbourne staff, resolving hardware, software, connectivity and AV issues in person
- Owning the full ticket lifecycle in Xurrent, from triage through to closure, and consistently meeting SLAs
- Providing remote L1/L2 support to staff in Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth, and coordinating hardware logistics with local contacts
- Running onboarding and offboarding end to end, provisioning and deprovisioning devices, accounts and software so every new starter gets a great first day
- Administering Microsoft 365 at an operational level, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, licensing, shared mailboxes and delegation
- Managing device enrolment, compliance policies and app deployment in Intune, plus user and group management, MFA and conditional access in Entra ID
- Enforcing endpoint security standards through Intune and Defender for Endpoint, and supporting our ESET-to-Defender migration
- Looking after office hardware, AV and meeting room systems, spotting issues before they affect the team
- Getting to the root cause of recurring issues, working with L3 to fix underlying gaps,

and building knowledge base articles that lift self-service over time

What you bring

You take real ownership of problems, following them through to resolution rather than patching the symptom, and you document what you find so the next person doesn't have to start from scratch. You're calm when priorities shift, and you genuinely care about making technology easier for the people around you.

- 3-4 years in a desktop support, systems support or IT engineer role
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Hands-on Intune experience across device enrolment, compliance policies and application deployment
- Solid Entra ID administration, including user/group management, MFA and conditional access troubleshooting
- Experience supporting both in-person and remote users across multiple locations
- Confident using ITSM tools for ticket management, SLA adherence and knowledge base contribution
- A diploma, degree or equivalent qualification in IT, Computer Science or a related field

It would be great if you also have:
- Microsoft Defender for Endpoint experience (onboarding, alert monitoring, basic response)
- PowerShell skills for basic automation and bulk administration
- Networking fundamentals across Wi-Fi, VPN, DNS and DHCP
- Microsoft certifications such as MD-102 or MS-102

What's in it for you?

"Go Beyond" isn't a marketing line at Fusion5, it's the standard we hold ourselves to. It reflects a convergence of solutions, services, and capabilities that enables clients to realise their business vision, with AI as a strategic lever for transformation. Alongside this, we offer a robust set of values and benefits that reflect how we work and what we stand for.

- Collaborative, supportive culture where people enjoy working together
- Flexible work arrangements and a genuine focus on work-life balance
- Birthday leave, volunteer days, and regular social events
- Clear development pathways and opportunities to grow with the practice

We'd encourage you to apply, even if your experience doesn't align perfectly with every requirement.
