ABOUT US The Finance Family is an independent brokerage in Berwick, serving Melbourne's south-east and Australia Wide clients with out national referral partners, part of the Connective network. We're not here to just write loans. We're here to give families their lives back. We've built our own tools, team and coaching so our brokers spend their time with clients, not on admin. The tools do the grunt work, you handle delivering the most human experience possible for our clients.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Advise clients across residential, investment, construction and self-employed lending, using our full lender panel (our brokers settled with 29 different lenders in the 12 months to March)
- Turn booked appointments into long-term client relationships
- Build your own pipeline through referral partners, your niche and your network
- Share what you know with the team, like everyone does at the moment. If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, join a team.

WHAT YOU GET

- Weekly one-on-one coaching with Dirk Ludowyk (23+ years in banking at NAB, Bank First and Uqualify), plus fortnightly team meetings and monthly best-practice workshops

including an AI receptionist that books appointments into our brokers' calendars day and night, outbound calling appointment setter, and in-house broker note generator.
- A split that grows with your volume: 70% of upfront and 50% of trail from day one, 75/55 once you've written $15m or after 18 months, and 80/60 at $30m or 36 months, whichever comes first. Each step applies to your whole portfolio.
- No monthly desk fee, with your credit rep fees, Quickli Pro, Brokerpedia and all tools paid for.
- Independence: no larger firm or bank owns us, and our only loyalty is to the families we serve THE HONEST BIT
- This is an ongoing independent contractor engagement through your own company. You'll need an ABN, PI insurance and your own laptop and phone
- There's no base salary. Year one is usually leaner while your pipeline builds, because commission arrives after settlement
- The appointments we book are the start, not the business. You'll be expected to prospect and will receive support from Dirk and the team. We have built a proprietary referral partner dashboard that connects directly with our Mercury CRM, so updating partners is seamless.
- You'll work to written service standards, to uphold the Finance Family Five Star Standard
- You'll be in the office as much as possible at the start, to give you the best head start possible.

WHO YOU ARE

- 5+ years in lending if you're coming from a bank, or 2+ years as a broker
- A Cert IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking, or ready to get one
- Curious, capable, clear and coachable
- Ambitious, and comfortable being measured knowing everyone is focused on helping you achieve the best version of yourself
