The successful candidate will be the primary technical authority for Oracle Cloud EPM within the enterprise IT function, working alongside the Finance EPM Administrator who owns the business and functional side.
The platform is live and business-critical. This role keeps it that way: diagnosing what breaks, hardening what keeps breaking, and making sure planning, forecasting and reporting are never waiting on the technology. It suits someone comfortable shaping a role that has not been done before and working out the right answers as they go.
What you’ll own
- Technical ownership of Oracle Cloud EPM: configuration, availability, reliability and supportability, and the technical implementation of approved metadata, forms, dashboards, business rules and application changes
- Incident and problem management: diagnosing application, integration, automation, security and configuration issues, root-cause analysis on recurring failures, and sustainable prevention rather than repeat recovery
- Integration and data-load support: monitoring executions, investigating failures, rejected records and incomplete processing, reviewing load logs and technical mapping configuration, and recovering failed processes
- Automation and scripting: maintaining EPM Automate processes, scheduled tasks and batch automation, supporting Groovy scripts, business rules and calculation performance, and keeping schedules, dependencies and recovery procedures documented
- Oracle release and patch coordination: reviewing monthly release information, identifying technical impacts, scoping regression coverage with Finance, and contributing technical input to production-readiness decisions
- Production change discipline: implementation, validation and rollback arrangements,
and assessing changes for technical risk, operational impact and supportability
- Coordinating technical dependencies with architecture, cyber security, identity, network and infrastructure teams
Must have
- Demonstrated hands-on technical administration of Oracle Cloud EPM
- Hands-on experience maintaining EPM Automate processes, scheduled tasks and batch automation
- Integration and data-load troubleshooting: load logs, technical mapping configuration and job dependencies
- Incident and problem management at second or third line, including root-cause analysis on recurring technical failures
- Experience applying formal change control to production environments
