Project Director - Position Summary The Project Director is a senior, hands-on role responsible for leading key client portfolios and personally managing the end-to-end delivery of major programs and flagship events across APAC. The role combines strategic client leadership with hands-on event delivery,

commercial accountability and team leadership.

Project Directors own their client portfolios and events from brief through to onsite delivery.

They build trusted senior relationships, understand client objectives and translate these into exceptional event experiences. On larger flagship programs, they will lead the delivery with support from a Project Coordinator or Event Executive, while retaining overall ownership and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Event & Portfolio Leadership

● Personally lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of major programs and flagship events across assigned client portfolios.

● Own the full event lifecycle from brief,



strategy and planning through to production,

logistics and onsite delivery.

● Lead and delegate effectively to Project Coordinators or Event Executives supporting larger programs, while retaining overall accountability for delivery.

● Ensure events are delivered to Verve’s standards, on time, on budget and aligned to the client’s objectives.

Client Ownership & Strategic Advisory

● Own senior client relationships across allocated portfolios, building trusted partnerships across multiple markets.

● Bring a strategic and advisory lens, understanding clients’ business objectives and

KPIs and translating these into meaningful event experiences.

● Lead key client conversations, provide recommendations and proactively identify opportunities to strengthen programs and grow relationships.

Commercial & Budget Management

● Own the commercial performance of assigned programs, including budgets,

forecasting, scope and profitability.

● Maintain strong financial discipline and identify budget, scope or resourcing risks early.

● Identify opportunities to grow accounts and expand Verve’s support across client portfolios.

Team Leadership & Delivery

● Lead and coach Project Coordinators and Event Executives supporting assigned programs, providing clear direction, delegation and feedback.

● Run structured project WIPs to maintain accountability, development and consistent delivery standards.





● Work closely with the General Manager and wider leadership team on resourcing,

delivery risks and portfolio performance.

Production, Creative & Onsite Delivery

● Personally lead production, creative, logistics, sponsorship and onsite delivery across assigned events.

● Guide creative and experience development to ensure concepts support the client’s objectives and overall event strategy.

● Plan and lead onsite delivery, including rehearsals, event flow and key client moments.
