The Opportunity
Gorilla Jobs is seeking a Locum Orthopaedic Surgeon to support orthopaedic services in regional NSW.
This role is ideal for a consultant or VMO wanting a change of scene alongside meaningful surgical work, with travel, accommodation and hire car included so you can try regional life without moving.
You will be integrated into the roster and may cover 24-hour on-call, trauma operating theatres or orthopaedic clinics depending on availability, with registrars rostered to support consultants across all settings. Ad hoc and block bookings are available for upcoming dates.

Clinical Workplace
• Diverse and high-volume trauma caseload to maintain and refine your surgical expertise
• Well-supported department with registrar coverage to streamline workflow and reduce fatigue
• Modern theatres, inpatient care and clinic infrastructure for a smooth day-to-day practice
• Flexible clinical involvement across emergency and elective surgery, with control over shift types and structure

Requirements
• Current AHPRA Specialist Registration
• Fellowship with RACS (Orthopaedic Surgery) or equivalent
• NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
• Willingness to complete local onboarding and credentialing
