The Opportunity
Gorilla Jobs is seeking a Locum ED SRMO to support Emergency Department services in Hunter New England.
This role suits a doctor with recent Emergency Medicine experience at SRMO level wanting a change of scene, with regional hospital experience and the Hunter region on the doorstep.
A short locum block is available for upcoming dates, with afternoon and evening shifts generally 14:00 to 00:00 at $180 per hour.

Clinical Environment
• Emergency Department SRMO role in a hospital-based locum position
• Afternoon and evening shifts, with no overnight roster
• Assess and manage ED presentations
• Support treatment planning and patient flow
• Complete clinical documentation and handover
• Escalate clinical concerns appropriately
• Supportive ED team environment, working with nursing and medical teams, with escalation pathways available

Requirements
• Current AHPRA registration
• Recent Emergency Medicine experience at SRMO level
• Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
• Ability to work safely within scope and escalate appropriately
• Current CV, references and compliance documents as required
