Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based in Perth, WA.

The Sales Manager will oversee sales operations for equipment hire and purchase, managing a portfolio of existing clients while actively identifying and pursuing current business opportunities. Day-to-day tasks include leading and coaching the sales team, setting and tracking sales targets, preparing quotes and proposals, and negotiating agreements with customers.

The role involves close collaboration with the parts and service departments to ensure accurate product information, timely delivery, and high levels of customer satisfaction.





The Sales Manager will also analyze market trends, maintain accurate sales reporting, and contribute to strategic planning to grow revenue and market share.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in sales management, preferably within heavy equipment, machinery, or industrial products.
- Strong skills in business development, customer relationship management, and account retention.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team to achieve targets and performance goals.
- Competence in preparing quotes, negotiating contracts, and managing the full sales cycle.
- Solid understanding of materials handling equipment or related technical products, or willingness to learn quickly.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentation tools).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills suitable for diverse customers and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to visit customer sites as required.
- Relevant qualification in business, sales, or a related discipline is beneficial but not mandatory.
