The Metal Fabricator reports directly to the Directors

The company's head office is located at 148 Dugan Street, Kalgoorlie WA 6430

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Marking off and fabricates structural steel and other metal stock to make or repair metal products and structures.
- Joining metal sections using various welding techniques,



bolting and riveting - must know how to ARC, MIG.
- Able to do thin gauge welding.
- Shaping and bending sheet metal and structure.
- Studying blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements.
- Selecting, cleaning, and preparing metal stock
- Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal-cutting machines
- Be familiar with working from drawings. Preparing and maintaining work documentation including service reports, job hazard analysis to ensure safety and compliance.
- Carrying out maintenance on fixed plant including vibration screens, jaw crushers, cone crushers and conveyors.
- Scraper installations and maintenance
- Carrying out field service work as part of shutdown crews

Skills and Experience Required: The position requires a candidate with:
- Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade
- More than 2 years experience in Crusher and Conveyor maintenance

A salary range of $108,680 - $114,500 plus super will be offered to the successful candidate, depending on skills and experience.
