About the Role

This role combines traditional accounts payable responsibilities with systems administration, data management, and process improvement projects. You will work closely with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and management to ensure accurate financial processing while contributing to automation and business improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Act as the primary contact for external enquiries and disputes regarding supplier arrangements.
- Review and improve business processes, controls, and compliance procedures.
- Assist with digital information management and document retention systems.
- Analysing workflows, transaction trends, and recurring issues to identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Work with management on technology and AI-driven process improvement initiatives.
- Investigating discrepancies, resolving cross-department issues and implementing corrective actions to maintain efficient supplier relationships and processes.
- Support financial systems, reporting tools, and business intelligence platforms.
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable function, including invoice processing and supplier payments.
- Reconcile supplier statements, bank accounts, and accounts payable transactions.
- Working with management to enhance process efficiency across multiple business units.




- Maintain supplier master data and financial records across multiple systems.
- Investigate and resolve supplier queries, discrepancies, and account issues.
- Support month-end and year-end financial reporting activities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

- Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
- 1+ years of experience in Accounts and systems management related discipline
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with financial reporting systems.
- Experience using Able and Accume financial systems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to identify process improvements and drive efficiencies.
- Experience within the transport and logistics industry.
- A proactive, reliable, and team-oriented approach.

Desirable:

- Knowledge of financial controls, compliance requirements, and system administration.
