At HIFraser, we're looking for a Service Engineer to join our team in Perth, Western Australia.

This role will suit someone who enjoys hands-on engineering, solving real-world problems, working directly with equipment, and collaborating with experienced technicians and tradespeople.

Working across our workshop and customer sites, you'll support the maintenance, repair, testing, installation and commissioning of critical equipment and systems. Approximately 90% of the role is hands-on, with the remaining time supporting engineering, planning and customer service activities.

What You'll Be Doing

- Performing maintenance, servicing, testing, certification and repair of customer equipment.
- Supporting installation, commissioning and field service activities across a range of customer sites.
- Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting mechanical, instrumentation and related systems.
- Completing preventative maintenance and equipment modifications.
- Providing technical support and advice to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Maintaining accurate service records, reports and customer documentation.
- Supporting engineering activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Working closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams to ensure successful delivery of work.
- Contributing to a positive, accountable and high-performing team environment.

About You

You may currently be working as a Service Engineer, Field Service Technician, Mechanical Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Workshop Technician,



Instrumentation Technician or in a similar technical role.

We're looking for someone who brings:

- An engineering qualification or strong technical background.
- Experience within a workshop, manufacturing, industrial, maintenance or field service environment.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to get involved.
- Experience working with tools, machinery and technical documentation.
- The ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A willingness to learn and continuously develop their technical knowledge.
- The ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
