About the Role

We are seeking an experienced UX Designer to create intuitive, accessible and user-centred digital experiences across multiple websites. The ideal candidate will have solid expertise in user research, interaction design, accessibility and design systems, with the ability to translate user needs into effective digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct user research, interviews and usability testing to understand user needs and improve digital experiences.
- Create user journey maps, wireframes, high-fidelity designs and interactive prototypes using Figma.
- Apply Human-Centred Design (HCD)



principles and mobile-first design approaches.
- Ensure accessibility compliance and conduct accessibility testing in line with WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards.
- Develop and maintain design systems, reusable components and consistent design patterns.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts and stakeholders to deliver effective digital solutions.

Essential Skills and Experience

- Strong Figma portfolio demonstrating experience designing content-rich websites.
- Proven experience in Human-Centred Design, user research and usability testing.
- Strong knowledge of accessibility standards, particularly WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
- Experience developing and maintaining design systems and reusable UI components.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Desirable Experience

- IAAP certification, such as Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) or Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS).
- Experience designing for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components.
- Experience working in government, education or other content-rich digital environments.
