Roster: Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

We’re seeking a qualified Weekend Chef to join our team at Ballarat Grammar Boarding. This is an opportunity to bring your culinary skills to a respected school community, preparing quality meals and delivering a positive dining experience for boarding students.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare fresh, nutritious and well-presented meals to a consistently high standard.
- Coordinate food preparation, bulk cooking and daily kitchen operations
- Provide friendly,



attentive service to create a positive dining experience for students
- Work independently and manage kitchen priorities efficiently
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Support a welcoming boarding environment through reliable service and quality meals

About You Desired Skills and Experience

- A recognised trade qualification in cookery
- Experience in a professional kitchen, ideally in education, boarding or institutional catering
- Confidence with food preparation, bulk cooking and kitchen operations
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently
- A commitment to food quality, presentation, hygiene and customer service
- Willingness to meet pre-employment requirements, including a Working With Children Check and National Police Check
