South East Injury Lawyers is seeking an experienced Queensland plaintiff personal injury lawyer to join our firm as a

Senior Associate or Special Counsel , depending on experience.

You will have at least

10 years’ post-admission experience in plaintiff personal injury law

and be capable of independently managing personal injury matters from inception through to resolution.

Our office is based at Hope Island on the Gold Coast, but you don’t need to live on the Gold Coast to work with us. For the right person, we’re open to a predominantly remote working arrangement, with attendance at our Hope Island office from time to time to collaborate and remain connected with the team.

The role You’ll have primary responsibility for the strategic management and progression of your own personal injury matters, with considerable autonomy over how those matters are run.

You will manage a file load of up to approximately

60 matters , with dedicated paralegal and administrative support.

Your matters will primarily include:

motor vehicle accident claims;

workers’ compensation claims; and





public liability claims.

You’ll develop matter strategy, advise clients, negotiate claims, brief Counsel and experts, and guide matters through compulsory conferences, mediations and litigation where required.

Who we’re looking for You’ll have substantial experience in Queensland plaintiff personal injury law and be comfortable independently managing complex matters and making sound strategic decisions.
