Your Role
As a John Deere (Agricultural) Technical Sales Representative, youll serve as the bridge between our cutting-edge products and our clients needs. You'll combine technical knowledge with sales skills to provide advice and support on our range of agricultural products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within your territory.
- Conduct technical presentations and product demos to prospects and clients.
- Understand client needs and recommend suitable products or custom solutions.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and follow up on leads.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver client-focused solutions.
- Maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Attend industry trade shows, events, and conferences as needed.
What Were Looking For
- Proven experience (7+ Years) in John Deere (Agricultural) technical sales, parts management, account management, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred Experience / Qualifications
- Experience in John Deere Sales Management for a minimum of 7+ years
- Qualifications in Engineering, Business, or related field would be an advantage.
- CRM proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Familiarity with John Deere Products and Services - Agriculture Division
