About the Role
We’re currently seeking a Kitchen Hand & Cleaner to join our team in a casual position, with potential to transition into permanent part-time.
In the Kitchen Hand role, you will:
- Assist with preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks
- Deliver food and drinks with care and attention to resident preferences
- Collect and clean dishes, utensils, and equipment
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming kitchen environment
In the Cleaner role, you will:
- Mop and vacuum floors, waste management, restock supplies
- Carry out routine and project cleaning tasks according to cleaning schedules
- Complete cleaning tasks according to infection prevention and control and health and safety requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll need:
- A current Food Handler’s Certificate
- A valid National Police Check
- A strong understanding of infection control and kitchen hygiene
- Great time management and communication skills
- A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced team
