About Us
A Mother’s Touch is a growing boutique cleaning company known for our exceptional service, attention to detail and strong relationships with both our clients and staff.
We've built an incredible team and loyal client base, and we're now at an exciting turning point. Our business has grown to the point where we're ready to introduce a dedicated Team Leader to help strengthen our operations and support our next stage of growth.
This is a newly created leadership position, working directly alongside our Director and Office Manager.
The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced, confident and proactive Cleaning Team Leader who can take ownership of our day‑to‑day onsite operations while helping us develop the systems and processes needed to grow.
You'll be the main point of contact for our cleaning teams, providing direction, support and accountability while acting as the key link between onsite staff and management.
This is a hands‑on leadership role , and you'll be actively involved in cleaning alongside our team while balancing your supervisory responsibilities. We're looking for someone who can confidently lead from the front, maintain our high cleaning standards and liaise with management to coordinate the operational side of the business.
This is not an entry‑level leadership role. While we'll train you in our systems, we're looking for someone who already knows how to lead people, manage competing priorities and deliver exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support and coordinate our onsite cleaning teams.
- Train, onboard and mentor new employees.
- Delegate responsibilities and ensure teams stay organised and on schedule.
- Act as the primary point of contact between onsite staff and management.
- Manage cleaning stock,
equipment and supplies.
- Maintain strong client relationships and address onsite concerns.
- Monitor quality standards and provide constructive staff feedback.
- Work alongside management to develop and implement operational systems and processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and team performance.
- Provide hands‑on support to the cleaning team when required.
About You
We're looking for someone who brings more than just cleaning experience.
You'll have:
- Proven experience in a Team Leader, Supervisor or operational leadership role.
- Experience managing staff, stock and client relationships.
- Excellent communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills.
- Confidence delegating, prioritising and making decisions independently.
- A positive, professional and supportive leadership style.
- The ability to hold people accountable while maintaining a healthy team culture.
- A proactive approach to improving systems and identifying opportunities.
- A current driver's licence.
Experience in the cleaning industry is highly regarded, but strong leadership experience and the right attitude are essential.
What We Offer
- 25–30 hours per week, Tuesday to Friday.
- A brand‑current electric company vehicle as part of your employment package.
- A newly created role with genuine ownership and responsibility.
- Direct involvement in business development and operational improvements.
- A supportive management team that values initiative and fresh ideas.
- The opportunity to grow your role as our business expands.
Ready to Grow With Us?
We're not simply looking for someone to manage a cleaning roster. We're looking for a leader who wants to help us build something bigger.
If you're experienced in managing people, passionate about delivering quality service and excited by the opportunity to shape the future of a growing boutique business, we'd love to hear from you.
