All Aspects Recruitment & HR Services are currently seeking APS6 Senior Investigators for a temporary role for approx. 12 months with possibility of extension.

- APS6 pay scale

Duties include:

- Assessing and planning cases, conducting interviews, preparing statements and affidavits, collecting, securing and managing evidential material and confidential information, preparing cases and briefs of evidence for referral to relevant parties such as the Australian Federal Police and Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions.
- Providing evidence in criminal and/or civil court as a representative of the DVA.
- Analysing and processing information to produce accurate and informative reports, undertaking administration, reporting and project work as required.
- Conducting formal and informal discussions with DVA staff and partners, partner agencies, veterans/clients, providers and third parties.




- Assisting with the execution of out of office investigative and operational activity, which may require domestic air travel and overnight stays.

Requirements

- Ability to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting One security clearance and national police check.
- Have demonstrated experience contributing to high volumes of complex work to a high standard.
- Utilising a Certificate IV in Government Investigations, or its equivalent, to conduct complex and sensitive investigation activities in accordance with DVA processes and the Australian Government Investigation Standards
- Have advanced experience with Microsoft Suite of products.
- Have solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Have sound judgement, professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Australian Citizenship is a condition of eligibility.
