The role
We're looking for a Family Lawyer to join our Brisbane office and work directly alongside our Family Law Partner, an Accredited Specialist and Independent Children's Lawyer. You'll have hands-on involvement in a full range of family law work, including:

- Parenting applications
- Property settlements
- Domestic violence orders

You'll have plenty of client contact and regular Court appearances, with the support of a partner who's invested in developing your skills. You'll also act for our client base in Mackay. Occasional travel to Mackay may be required for in-person court events and mediations, with most matters conducted by phone or video link.



Costs of travel would be fully covered and generally not more than 1 or 2 days at a time. Please note this role will not entail Legal Aid Queensland work.

About you
You're a family lawyer with 1-3 years' PAE who:

- Brings empathy and care to clients in difficult circumstances
- Is confident running your own files while working well in a team
- Is comfortable with modern practice management technology
- Is willing to travel occasionally for Court and mediations
- Is interested in growing client relationships and contributing to the firm's business development (we'll support you with this)
