About the role:
The successful candidate will be part of the business engineering team and will be directly responsible for the following areas
- Design of LV/MV/HV Equipment Electrical systems including Main Switchboards, Motor Control Centres, PLC panels, control panels, and field devices.
- AutoCAD generation of electrical general assembly drawings, circuit diagrams and BOM's.
- PLC program design and programming (LD, FBD,ST techniques)
- Research and development of new equipment and existing equipment advancements.
- Provide supervision and guidance to the business' electrical assembly team.
- Provide electrical technical support to the business field service team.
To be considered for this role, you will bring the following:
- Degree Qualified - Batchelor of Engineering (Electrical or Mechatronics)
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Experience with electrical design software such as AutoDesk Inventor & Fusion 360.
- Solid technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple functions simultaneously in a faced paced environment.
- Sound knowledge of Australian Standards
