We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our team in Cranebrook. This is an urgent opportunity to support a participant in achieving greater independence and quality of life through person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide personal care support while maintaining the participant's dignity and privacy.
- Assist with community access, including attending appointments and social outings.
- Support the development of daily living and life skills.
- Perform household cleaning and domestic assistance to maintain a safe and comfortable home workplace.
- Build positive, respectful relationships through effective communication.
- Encourage independence while providing appropriate levels of support.

Essential Requirements

- Current driver's licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
- Strong cleaning and household management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable working in a home with pets, including cats and dogs (no pet allergies).
- Friendly, patient, and respectful approach.
- Comfortable in a family environment and enjoys working around children.
- Ability to provide personal care and community access support.

Requirements:

- Completed Cert 3 or 4 in disability, Individual support, Aged Care, Nursing





Applicants with Valid License and Access to own vehicle will be prioritized ( License and Comprehensive Insurance)

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to apply)
- At least 6 months experience in disability, aged care or nursing sector.

Preferred Qualities

- Compassionate, dependable, and proactive.
- Able to work independently and follow participant support plans.
- Positive attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred support.
- Previous experience in disability support is desirable; however, candidates from all backgrounds are welcome to apply.
