North Cafe is looking for a passionate and reliable Chef / Cook to join our team in North Richmond. We serve breakfast, brunch and lunch, offering fresh, delicious meals in a friendly café environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook breakfast, brunch and lunch menu items to a high standard.
- Ensure food quality, presentation, consistency and timely service.
- Prepare ingredients and maintain an organised, clean kitchen.
- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.
- Monitor food stock, assist with ordering and minimise food waste.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods.
- Collaborate with the café team to ensure smooth daily operations.





Skills and Experience

- Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a café, restaurant or similar kitchen.
- Experience preparing breakfast and brunch dishes is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and safe food handling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good time management and communication skills.
- Reliable, organised and passionate about cooking.
- Relevant qualifications are desirable; applicants must have any legally required training or certifications for the role.
