- Promote a strong safety culture through visible leadership, workplace inspections, safety observations, and risk management activities.
- Monitor maintenance performance, identify improvement opportunities, and manage maintenance backlogs.
- Supervise employees and contractors, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
- Support workforce planning, including rostering, leave management, recruitment, onboarding, and training.
- Maintain accurate maintenance, safety, and operational records and provide reporting to support business objectives.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, reliability, efficiency, and service delivery.

Key Requirements:

- Trade qualification in Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Building, or a related discipline.

- Current Forklift Licence.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience within mining, facilities maintenance, construction, or a similar heavy industry environment.
- Strong understanding of maintenance planning systems and work management processes.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to develop, motivate, and manage diverse teams.
- Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements and commitment to safe work practices.
- Strong communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience using SAP or similar maintenance management systems is highly desirable.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
