Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a protected, stimulating, and educational environment for children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the daily program in your room and create a warm, safe, play-based environment where every child feels a sense of belonging
- Plan, document and critically reflect on learning in line with the EYLF V2.0 and the NQS
- Mentor and guide your room team, setting the tone for teamwork, respect and high standards
- Build genuine partnerships with families through daily connection, feedback and shared goals for their child
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for children
- Observe and document children's development
- Maintain a clean and organized environment

Requirements:

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care




- Current First Aid Certificate
- Working with Children Check
- Mandatory Geccko Training
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of EYLF & NQF with the ability to implement these into the Centre's educational program
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- At least 1+ years experience within an early childhood education setting preferred
