About the opportunity

Forgepoint Recruitment is partnering with a national appliance brand to find a Service Coordinator for its after-sales warranty team at its Western Sydney head office. You start as a temp and convert to a permanent role.

If you know your way around a busy service desk, can stay calm and clear with an unhappy customer, and like seeing a job through from first call to fixed product, this role is for you.

What you’ll be doing

- Taking warranty and service calls on a national 1300 line from customers across NSW, VIC, QLD, SA and WA
- Working out whether a fault is genuine or a user issue, and checking proof of purchase and warranty terms
- Raising warranty authorisations in SAP: customer details, model, serial number and fault description
- Emailing job sheets to service agents and assigning tasks in the system
- Ordering parts, printing dispatch dockets and raising goods return notes for faulty product
- Following each job through with the service agent, customer and courier until it is resolved
- Helping with monthly service agent invoice processing, fault and reimbursement reports, and backing up the team on spare parts, credit claims and recalls

Be upfront with yourself: this is a phone-heavy, system-heavy role. Some customers will be frustrated, and some will be out of warranty. You’ll need to stay polite and hold the line.

What you’ll bring





- 3+ years in customer service, call centre, administration or after-sales (warranty or service desk experience is ideal)
- Confidence on the phone, plus speed and accuracy on the keyboard at the same time
- Solid skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience in a system-based role (SAP is a big plus, but any ERP or service management system is valued)
- Full Australian working rights
- Reliable transport for a 7:00am start

Highly regarded

- SAP experience
- A warranty background in appliances, whitegoods, HVAC or consumer electronics
- Experience coordinating service agents or subcontractors
- Cert III in Business Administration
