About the role

We're HEQS Wholesale Group - an Australian family-owned manufacturer, importer and wholesaler of furniture, bedding and appliances, trading since 2006, with an 11,000 sqm factory and our own warehouses in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Victoria is where we're investing next, and we need someone on the ground to own recent business across it.

This is a new-business role. You'll be on the road across Greater Melbourne, plus regional Victoria as the pipeline needs, opening accounts with:

- Commercial fit-out companies, builders and project managers
- Hotels, pubs, clubs and hospitality groups
- Student accommodation, build-to-rent and co-living operators
- Aged care and NDIS providers
- Furniture and bedding retailers

What a good month looks like

- 40+ face-to-face meetings with new decision-makers
- Quotes out for FF&E; and volume packages within 48 hours
- New accounts opened and first orders shipping from Melbourne stock
- Pipeline kept current in Microsoft Dynamics 365

You'll have behind you

- An offshore sales-support team doing research, qualification and quote admin
- Segment lead lists across nine sectors, already built
- Our own factory and direct import - price and lead times competitors can't match
- Our National Sales Director, who you'll build the VIC plan with

You'll bring

- 2+ years opening new B2B accounts in the field in Australia - ideally commercial furniture, FF&E;, fit-out, building products, hospitality equipment or trade wholesale. Tender or procurement-panel experience (VendorPanel, Buying for Victoria) is a plus
- Evidence: accounts you've won, their value and how you won them
- Accurate quoting and same-day follow-up
- Current driver's licence and full Australian work rights

Package





- Base $70,000-$90,000 + uncapped commission (OTE $120,000-$150,000)
- Fully maintained company car with personal use - fuel, rego, servicing and insurance covered
- iPhone and laptop (company car and devices are covered by our workplace monitoring policy, provided in writing before you start)
