Café Chef – Full-Time, Brass & Bloom Café, 73 Northcote Street, East Brisbane, QLD 4169. About us, Brass & Bloom serves quality coffee, and fresh, delicious food in a friendly neighbourhood setting. The role, we're looking for a reliable café chef to run the kitchen independently, most of the time. You'll be preparing and cooking high-quality breakfast and brunch, managing prep and service, maintaining food safety, and keeping things clean and organised. Most of the time you'll be working independently, so confidence running a kitchen with minimal supervision is essential. Key responsibilities, prepare and cook breakfast, brunch, and lunch items to a high standard, manage kitchen operations during service, keep food safety and cleanliness standards, control stock and minimise waste, and work closely with front of house for smooth service. What we're looking for, proven experience as a café or breakfast chef, strong breakfast and brunch cooking skills, ability to work independently, good time management, and a calm, reliable approach.
